A lot more of you have been posting your countdowns on Twitter and we truly appreciate it. So, we wanted to share with you our favourite countdowns we have found.

If you are not familiar with our user inspired posts then here is a little catch up on what happens in these posts. We pick 2 amazing countdowns from Twitter or Instagram and give you a little more info on the countdown itself. If it is a countdown to say Ed Sheeran, we give you some news on him and if there are still some tickets left or if it’s a holiday some great tips on where to go and what to see and when to go.

First up is @dncebrad who is off to see The Vamps in Brighton and London both with VIP access in 3 months’ time. If you don’t know who The Vamps are then here is a little crash course in who they are. The Vamps are formed of four members, Conner, Tristan, James and Brad. The band started uploading covers to their YouTube channel way back in 2012 and gained success later that year and signed a record deal with Mercury Records. They have had a string of hits over years including, Can We Dance, Wild Heart, Last Night and many more. Most recently they got back into the studio to release their Night & Day Album and you might have heard their latest single All Night. They are going on tour in 2018 you can see them in the UK and in Europe too. Plenty of tickets still on sale, you can get them here. Have a lovely time on the tour if you are going and if you do go please tag us in your countdowns.

Next up is @AngieGalle924 who is off to see Fall Out Boy in loads of places in September. Here’s a little heads up on who Fall Out Boy is, the band has been formed in Illinois since early 2001 and released a huge list of hits such as Sugar, We’re Goin Down, Dance, Dance and many more. Achieved great success across the globe and been on lots of tours. They are back again after a short break from releasing new music, they wrote brand music which you can hear on their Mania album. It was recently just released in January and this has led to the band going on tour again later on this year. They are taking their tour across the globe, but mainly across America. Tickets are still on sale so grab them before they all sell out.

If you want to take part in our user inspired posts all you must do is either tag us in your countdowns, or use #countdown or #countdownplus on your posts.

Countdown Info

This blog tutorial will show you all the information you can add to a new countdown and existing ones. This is for Ios only. Some features will be available on the full version only.

When adding a new custom event, you can fill in quite a lot of information. We wanted to show a step by step guide to what you can add. First up name your event, you can backspace the pre-existing text and fill in your own event title. Privacy, you can either choose to make the event public so everyone can see the event, or keep it private so only you can see the event.

Change the date of the event, and even the time of the event, if you would like to add an end date you can do so by taping the plus button and tap on the x button if you want to remove it. You can choose a time zone as well, so useful if you have an event in a different country. If you need to repeat the event you can, it can be never, every day, every week, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, every month and every year.

You can choose the type of counting down to the event, this feature is only available in the full version of the app. Change the reminder, we recommend using auto since you get better notifications about the event.

Themes and Styling mean you can add images and all sorts to your countdown, check out the video on themes and styling. Also, you can choose a default sound for your event as well when it happens.

Details section is helpful if you want to add additional info to the event you have. Add a location to your event if you want to. If you have a link to the event you can add that. Add any notes you want to on the event. Then press done when you are all finished.

Thank you for reading this tutorial, we will be releasing more tutorials very soon. If you have any questions about the app then message us on Facebook. Check out the original video here.

January Update 2018 📱

It’s a brand-new year and we felt like we should update you all on what is going on with the C+ app. Read on to find out more.

Android has been our major focus for the past couple of months, it has brought some roadblocks along the way. We have been trying to find solutions to some issues that have set us back in releasing an Android update. It is our goal to make sure that Android is up to speed with the iPhone app. Since many have mentioned that a few features have not been implemented yet to the Android app. We do apologise for the delay in any updates, as you may know, we are a small team and are trying our best to get an update out to you all.

An iPhone update is long overdue and we need to focus our attention on Android for now. It will be updated right after we get an Android update out. There are some minor issues with the app but nothing severe. So, we will keep you updated again very soon on what updates are coming out later on.

If you want to stay informed on updates and progress of the app then the best place to follow us is on Facebook. If you do have questions about the app then message us on Facebook where we are happy to help you with any query regarding the app. Follow us on Instagram and Twitter to see what events we are counting down to.

Disneyland Paris Season of the Force

Disneyland Paris is a magical place to visit but more so during The Season of the Force. So we wanted to cover some basic information we found online about The Season of the Force. Read on to find out more.

Season of the Force at Disneyland Paris starts from 13th January to 25th March 2018. You can expect new shows in the Walt Disney Studios Park of Disneyland Paris. Also a brand new late night illumination show. You might be aware too that Discoveryland in Disneyland Paris has transformed into a small Star Wars themed area. You can meet new characters and ride on Space Mountain.

With so much to offer you are probably wondering what to do during the Season of the Force. We recommend seeing a few daytime shows first, why not head to see a show in the Production Courtyard in Walt Disney Studios Park. Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away. If you love the movies then you will love this show, you can enjoy seeing Star Wars Characters come to life and see some amazing stunts and visual effects. First Order March seeing Captain Phasma lead the team of Stormtroopers to perform a march under the command of the Captain.

If a show isn’t for you then maybe you might want to catch a ride over in Disneyland Paris Discoveryland. Star Tours Strikes Back is an exceptional ride filled with an immersive ride experience. You will ride on the Starspeeder 1000 to take off on a 3D ride visiting Jakku and Hoth and also the Death Star. It’s not a ride for the faint-hearted and might not be ideal if you suffer from motion sickness. You can also meet Darth Vader himself and take some photos with him. Located just outside of the Star Wars shop in Discoveryland. Space Mountain was originally unrelated to Star Wars before, but they revamped the ride to fit in with the movie franchise. You will be launched into Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain for a thrilling ride where you will be a part of the Rebel Alliance. You will need to do battle with a menacing Star Destroyer. If the queues for the rides are too long then why not head on over to the shop with everything Star Wars themed. Find mugs, pins and t-shirts, but don’t get too carried away.

So if that was enough to convince you then you might want to read on to find out how much it will cost. You should as we have mentioned in the past about staying in a Disney hotel, the cheapest hotel in all of the other hotels is Hotel Santa Fe. If you want to travel during this period expect to pay around £500 – £700 for the whole package. Hotel, tickets to parks, and extras like travel. We hope you enjoyed this post, let us know if this helped you make up your mind on whether to travel to the park this year.

Christmas Update 🎄🎅🏼📱

This will be the last post for 2017 from us as we will be taking a few weeks break over the Christmas period. We wanted to spend the last post just addressing some updates for Countdownplus. Read along to find out more.

First up is Android, we are aware that Android released a brand-new update for Android phones. At the time of writing this post, we are hoping to have an update out on Google Play. That update will address some minor bugs in the app. We have a few features that have not been added and will have slow releases in 2018. We want the Android app to mirror the iOS version in terms of features. We were busy catching up on iPhone issues so Android did take a slight step back.

For iPhone updates, we don’t have anything planned for 2017. It will likely get some fixes for some minor bugs in 2018. We don’t expect to update the app with new features in 2018. Expect some fix updates throughout 2018.

We would like to ask you if there is a tutorial for both apps you feel have not been covered yet. So do message us on Facebook for some suggestions. We would love to take those ideas into consideration for 2018.

If you do have a query for us then please note that we will likely not respond until the new year. Do check our YouTube channel first to find a large collection of tutorials for the app. We will be back in the first few weeks of January. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

User Inspired Concerts 2018 🎤

We have the last user inspired post of 2017 for you, hope you enjoy reading about the next two events taking place in 2018.

If you are not familiar with our user inspired posts then here is a little catch up on what happens in these posts. We pick 2 amazing countdowns from Twitter or Instagram and give you a little more info on the countdown itself. If it is a countdown to say, Ed Sheeran, we give you some news on him and if there are still some tickets left or if it’s a holiday some great tips on where to go and what to see and when to go.

First up is @saraawr who is going to see Dan Howell and Phil Lester perform on their Interactive Introverts tour in May 2018. Dan Howell and Phil Lester are two friends who met through YouTube and forged a very successful career out of making YouTube videos. Both have separate channels and have a joint gaming channel, and they have over 10 million subscribers with both their personal channels put together. They have done a live stage show back in 2016 called The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire and was also turned into a YouTube Red series. It was a wonderful mix of what happened at their shows and the BTS look at their life on the road. The stage show was a brilliant mix of the regular things that happened in their videos but on a larger scale in front of thousands of people on stage. We don’t know anything yet, about what Interactive Introverts is going to be about. It might just be bigger and better than the last live stage show from 2016. This tour will take them all across the world, so wherever you are reading this, they could be on a stage just near you. Tickets can be found on sale here. Watch the trailer for the stage show here.

Next up is @haayyleeyy_ who is going to see Little Mix in July 2018. They were a band formed on The X Factor 6 years and have forged a very successful singing career. With 4 Number No.1s in the UK. The group has a brand-new single out right now called Reggaetón Lento with CNCO. That song was performed live on The X Factor Live Final and get a brilliant response from viewers. Saying that they actually stole the results show. After just coming off a live tour they have wasted no time at all and released a brand-new tour called The Summer Hits Tour 2018. You can still get tickets for the shows since tickets were released in November. We hope to hear some more great hits from them in 2018. From that X Factor performance, we are sure the stage shows will be amazing.  You can get tickets for the shows here. So if you missed them on their last tour then you can catch them again, or simply see them again.

User Inspired 2018 Holidays ✈️🏖

It has been some time since our last user inspired post, so since 2017 is nearly over, we wanted to share two of our favourite 2018 holiday countdowns. Read along to get some inspiration for your next trip.

First up is @_kays_world_ who is off to Rhodes, Greece in July next year. To start off let’s mention when it is best to actually visit Greece, July and August are busy times but if you don’t mind it then it might suit you. Weather-wise April until June and also September is great months to visit. If you are planning on taking a visit then maybe think about renting a car to get you around town. It is recommended to visit Rhodes Town where you can climb the Roloi Clock Tower to get a better view of the whole town. It’s a place to visit during the day and also at night. Whilst you are there do go and visit Acropolis, it is some remains of the old place, you can actually climb the remains and see a stunning view of Rhodes. Be warned it isn’t for the faint-hearted and will be quite the climb up, but the view is very rewarding. If you want to spend some time just relaxing by the pool then you might want to find the beach that suits you. A lovely beach to go and relax is Tsambika beach located on the east coast, it is highly rated on Trip Advisor.

Next is @adventurous.alexandrea who is off to Vilnius, Lithuania in January next year. The best time to visit is May until June and September those are the less crowded times; July until August is the warmest times of the year to visit. It is recommended by many online to explore the old town, it is a huge town that is very easy to walk around. It holds some amazing baroque architecture, it also the largest baroque capital as well. It’s worth just wondering around the town and popping into a few shops and coffee shops too. The best way to see the new and old town is high up, you can climb Gediminas Hill that overlooks the city. Lithuanian food is also very interesting and also delicious, so be adventurous and try some local cuisine there. If the walking is tiring you out then there are lots of amazing museums to visit. So check before you go to find the best ones to visit.

This Ryanair Black Friday sale needs to end😅

Photo Filters

For this blog tutorial we will be explaining how filters work for the update of the app. This tutorial is for iOS only.

Since Version 4.1 we have added photo filters, first of all let’s explain how you can unlock extra filters. So go to the upgrades screen, you will see that now you will be able to unlock extra filters by either having the full version, or purchasing one of the image packs. So you can be on the lite version, but can unlock extra filters simply by purchasing image packs.

You can use photo filters in many different ways, you can use them on your profile picture, cover image and also pictures for your countdowns. So we are going to create a mock event just so you can see what happens. So fill in event details and then hit Themes and Styling.

Tap on the image in the bottom left hand corner, choose the image you want to use, then you will see a bunch of filters to choose from, once you get the extra filters you will have a huge selection to choose from. Choose the filter you like and hit save. Then you are all done.

You can go back and change the filters as many times as you like as well.

Thank you for reading this tutorial, we will be releasing more tutorials very soon. If you have any questions about the app then message us on Facebook. Check out the original video here.
