This blog tutorial will help you to restore prior purchases on Version 4.0 of the app. This works if you previously paid for the full version via the lite version. This tutorial works for iOS devices.

Say you had the lite version when you had Version 3.0 and needed to update it back to the full version. Then go to Menu (three lines) Upgrades then scroll down to the bottom of the page and find Restore Prior Purchase and then tap on that, you will see a pop up telling you what was restored. This tutorial also works if you previously purchased the image backgrounds pack. Then you will receive another popup telling you that your image backgrounds were loaded. User Inspired Holidays Take 2

The last time we did a user based blog post a few of you really enjoyed it so we are back again, and we are going to do another holiday post.

New York is a great place to go in America and a popular destination. A lovely user by the name of @somermariex is going in 199 days. New York is most famous for its pizza, one of the first pizza places to ever open in New York was Lombardi’s Pizza, this place is amazing if you want authentic pizza. If you are looking to walk off that pizza then why not take a walk along The High Line, a beautiful urban bridge in the heart of the city, with stunning views it is a nice alternative to the usual tourist sites in NY. If you fancy splashing some cash, then hit the shops in Times Square. Plenty of new shops and some really fun shops to go into are Hershey’s Chocolate World. You won’t miss it with its bright and colorful shop front lights. There you can stock up on all the best American chocolate and sweets, a perfect place to get some souvenirs or just things for yourself. Why not jump into a cab and see some of the amazing tourist sites in NY, a must do is the Empire State building and the Rockefeller Center, both stunning views of the city and skyline. It’s a perfect place to take some pictures. A nice way to end a day of begin the day with is to watch a Broadway show. Either a comedy or musical performance.

Gran Canaria in Spain is up next and seems like a blissful place to take a holiday if you want to get away. @hannah_daish is off very soon and her countdown by the pool had us dreaming of a summer holiday. Known for its stunning views and relaxing beaches why not visit Playa de Las Canteras for a spot of sun bathing and swimming in the clear blue sea. This beach, in particular, seems to be a favorite with many holiday makers. If you are after some culture then head to Catedral de Santa Ana, from the top experience some stunning views of the local area. Also, check out EL Faro de Maspalomas for some great architecture and some stunning views of the ocean. Apparently, the lighthouse and promenade are worth taking a look at. If you are looking for something a bit more active to do, then check out some water sports activities to do on the island. If you like hiking then there are lots of great places to go for a good walk in the mountains. If you prefer to get a little deeper into the ocean then you can learn to deep sea dive, and explore the fishes and sea life.

So those are the two places we really liked from our users. What holidays do you have on our app? Let us know using the #Countdownplus on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

How to have the best day at Universal Studios in Orlando

After the huge success of our Disneyland post, we had to an identical blog post for Universal Studios in Orlando. So here are some tips we found on the internet about how to have the best day out at Universal. We will follow the same structure as that post so split it into three sections food, attractions and general advice.

Food is up first on the agenda, now Universal has a load of great places to eat. A big obvious must drink has to be the Butter Beer you can find in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. People say its like a butterscotch flavoured cream soda, and great for a perfect photo op. The Simpson’s Fast Food Boulevard has a few food choices, it’s a great place if you need to get places in a hurry and don’t have much time at the park. So try out the crazy massive, Lard Lad donut, its great to share if you are going with a big group. They have a Bubba Gump in CityWalk this place is amazing if you want to eat good seafood, a great suggestion we picked up on is the Lt. Dan’s Drunken Shrimp. Plenty to tuck into and the atmosphere is fun to. Lastly to top that all off why not go to Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour, located in Diagon Alley. They have butterbeer but in soft serve ice cream. Simply amazing and to die for. There are plenty more flavours to choose from so perfect if you are taking a stroll along Diagon Alley. If that doesn’t want to make you book your tickets then lets hope the next section does.

Next up is attractions, so many more to choose from in Universal. Sticking with the Harry Potter for the first choice, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. It’s a 3D Roller Coaster style ride, its mixed with video motion simulations so you get the see the whole Harry Potter characters come to life in front of you. Its not the best if you get a tad motion sickness and its based inside and not an outdoor ride so just a little heads up for you guys. With the recent remake come back to cinemas I am sure you will want to check out the Jurassic Park ride, River Adventure ride. It’s a water ride so expect to get covered in water, set similar to the original movie. You see the life of the dinosaurs and then all of sudden everything goes wrong the raptors escape their enclosure and you then go down the huge drop and get covered in water. Why not go for something a little bit more lit hearted at Universal and ride the E.T Adventure, take the famous bike in the film, a great ride if you have younger kids with you. We shall leave you with the last ride to check out which is the Hogwarts Express and you get on the train and enter a carriage, you travel from Kings Cross to Hogwarts and look out the window and watch your journey also some shadows walk past with key characters from the movie. Just a few rides to keep you occupied whilst at the park.

Lastly lets give some great advice for when you are at Universal. Best to book your tickets online since it is cheaper, you can print out your tickets at the park. Apparently cramping everything in 2 days is tricky but if you don’t want to go on every ride then its suggest to get the 2-day passes. Nearly every ride there which does not let you carry your belongings on have free lockers so that will be great so that your valuables don’t get lost or wet. Plan ahead on what you want to do, since every park has a map online, download it and maybe have a few rides you really want to go on and some you aren’t too desperate to ride. A must do if you are a huge Harry Potter fan is to get a park exclusive wand, get one that’s picked for you well worth it if you have kids. Lastly, if you don’t mind sitting next to someone else and it makes life easier if you ride alone, you will not have to wait for so long so go to the single queues on selected rides.

So that is it for some short advice on going to Universal Studios, if you are counting down till Universal Studios then don’t forget to tag us in your pictures. #countdownplus and find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

How to throw an awesome baby shower

So throwing an awesome baby shower can be a tad confusing where do you start? We have a few tips for you on how to throw a great baby shower.

First of all, before anything, decide a good time that suits the expectant friend. Decide whether you want to just hold a small get to together or a lavish event. If you choose to throw it at home then that’s great, get everyone counting down to the event with the app. Set up a countdown and then the planning can commence. Head out to a crafts store and get a few decorations, Pinterest is a good place to start when looking for ideas of a theme.

The possibilities are just endless, once all the décor is sorted then its on to food ideas. So when it comes to food, maybe delegate a few things amongst friends, everyone could bring a piece of food dear to them. Or everyone could bake a cake and you could organise a baking competition for the baby shower. Now that’s the food situation sorted let’s move on to games for the night. Again Pinterest is a great place for inspiration, maybe select about 5 different games to play each different and unique. If any of the games require purchasing of items, then again maybe delegate responsibilities. You could make sure that everyone has to make the time to bring something that would make a great game for the shower. Also someone who wins the most games during the day could win something, maybe a small goody bag.

Obviously part of the day will be all about the present unwrapping, because who doesn’t love to do that. Its also noted that sometimes baby showers don’t come round often, so make sure you capture the whole day and someone in the group can be in charge of taking pictures and compile them together for a book about the whole shower. You could also make sure everyone takes a picture that day and, add yourself to a messaging group and dump the photos there. So that the person in charge of taking pictures can make a nice scrapbook. It makes for a great gift and a lovely thing to show the boy or girl when they are older.

That’s pretty much it, main point is to have fun, make the day as memorable as you can. Hope you enjoyed this how to post from us, let us know in the comments what you want to see next on the blog post.
